When Art and Motorsport Stories Collide: Tracey Jane Bell’s Exhibition for a Cause

Tracey Jane Bell never expected her art exhibition to coincide with a book launch, let alone one hosted by a familiar face from the world of Formula One. On a bright and bustling day at St Mary’s Church in Ross-on-Wye, creativity filled the ancient space as paintings, books, and conversations flowed side by side.

While Tracey was welcoming visitors to her exhibition, Ted Kravitz was in the same venue launching his latest book. The meeting was entirely unplanned, yet perfectly fitting—two storytellers sharing the same historic setting, each in their own way capturing moments, emotion, and passion.

Based in the Forest of Dean, Tracey’s artwork drew steady attention throughout the day. Her paintings, rich in feeling and colour, resonated deeply with visitors. As conversations unfolded and connections were made, the exhibition proved not only memorable but meaningful. By the close of the event, 11 of Tracey’s original paintings had been sold, with all proceeds going directly to support her charity, Communities Action Trust / Cherished Child.

The success of the exhibition was more than measured in sales alone. It was a celebration of creativity coming together for a greater purpose—art, community, and generosity sharing the same space under the timeless arches of St Mary’s Church. For Tracey, the day was a reminder that art has the power not only to inspire, but to change lives.
