We at The Cherished Child Initiative are thrilled to invite you to our Children's Christmas Party!
As a registered charity, our mission is to support and cherish the children in our community, and we are so excited to host this festive celebration for them. We have planned an afternoon full of holiday joy and activities at the Arcadia Community Centre on 13th December from 12 PM to 4 PM.
To ensure we can provide a wonderful experience for every child (aged 5-12), we kindly ask that you register with us by 1st December. We can't wait to come together with you and your families to celebrate the season and continue our work of making a difference

This is one of our favorite fundraisers of the year, and we’ve planned an amazing afternoon with a £200 cash jackpot and many other great prizes to be won. For just a £2 admission fee, you'll get your bingo cards and enjoy some lovely cake and tea with us.

The best part is that all proceeds will directly support our mission of assisting the vulnerable elderly and the cherished children in Zimbabwe. By joining us, you're not just playing for prizes—you're helping us provide crucial aid and bring hope to those who need it most.

The Communities Action Trust, which oversees The Cherished Child Initiative, is deeply humbled to be supported by the Jesuit Global Network of Schools at their Advent Carol Service.

This event is a beacon of hope for us. The food donations collected will allow us to prepare and deliver essential Christmas food hampers to the disadvantaged, vulnerable, and neglected elderly citizens in Zimbabwe—a group we are dedicated to serving. For many of them, these hampers are a vital source of sustenance and a powerful reminder that they are cherished by a global community.

We see this service as more than a celebration; it is a partnership in compassion. The generosity sparked in the SGC Chapel will have a direct and meaningful impact, helping us fulfill our mission to bring dignity, care, and comfort to those who need it most this Christmas.

This holiday season, a local artist has opened her studio—and her heart—to a cause close to ours.
Tracey Jane Bell, a passionate painter, is hosting a Christmas exhibition where every brushstroke tells two stories: one of creativity, and one of compassion. All proceeds from her original artwork will directly support the Community Action Trust, helping us uplift vulnerable elderly and children in Zimbabwe.
Walk through her gallery from December 1–23 at 17 Abbots View, Buckshaft, and you’ll find more than paintings—you’ll find hope framed on walls, kindness captured on canvas, and Christmas spirit in every piece.
