Jamboree appreciation. The board of Trustees and fundraising team of Community Action Trust ( registered charity 1183951) would like to say a special thank you to all those who made our Jamboree the success it was on the 8th July. Our success is based on how many we are able to engage in assisting us with our works, and our sustainability going forward. It's the paying forward we are always after. To the many helping hands... it was so good to see the youth engaged this year. To all who supplied raffle prizes ( Zimfari S.A Goodies Hamper,N Beer Biltong Cake,Heather Galloway- Body Shop hamper, Makah Gu -Tablet, Cheryl Hill -pamper hamper,team members bottles for the booze boxes, Lyndon Robertson -makeup hamper, anon Flight tickets, Marks Tasty Biltong x1kg ) To all those who assisted at the Golf and for the generosity of JSM who covered the green fees. Different Strokes Golf Society for sponsoring the prizes and the golfers themselves for their support thank you. We are absolutely thrilled to advise that we raised over £7000 on the 8th July 2023. However, please bear in mind that this amount barely covers what's needed to sustain our feeding project for 6 months. So how do we manage for the rest of the year? We are very reliant on the various Go fund me pages we run, the events both here and Zim, the generosity of folk who donate on an adhoc basis and those who have small monthly direct debits, individuals who carry out cycle rides etc on our behalf, every little bit helps. Thank you again good people. Long may we continue to always show kindness, love and compassion to those less fortunate than ourselves. God bless you all.
